MenuBar Rainmeter Skin

MenuBar combines macOS- and GNOME-inspired styling with editable desktop menus for files, programs and web links. Its customization is file-based: users change menu labels and click actions in INI files, or replace the top-bar icon asset. The documented menus act as configurable shortcuts rather than application-native menu integration.

What this skin includes

• Separate folders contain Menu, Programs and Google menus.
• Menu entries use editable text and LeftMouseDownAction paths.
• Google menu entries can open web addresses.
• Top-bar icon can be replaced through an @Resources image file.

Setup and limits

Install Rainmeter and the skin. To change shortcuts, open Menu.ini inside the Menu, Programs or Google folder and edit the entry text and LeftMouseDownAction destination. Save and reload the skin through Rainmeter. For the default top-bar icon, replace new-t-miniiiiii.png in @Resources using the same filename.

Rainmeter is required, but the supplied page gives no minimum version. Example menu actions contain author-specific local paths that need replacement with relevant destinations. The evidence documents editable shortcuts, not automatic discovery of application commands or native macOS/GNOME functionality on Windows. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
