About DeskSpruce: An Independent Rainmeter Directory

What DeskSpruce covers, how its material is prepared and why a listing is not an official endorsement.

Desktop skins and Windows cursors

DeskSpruce is an independent directory of Rainmeter desktop skins and Windows cursor sets. The two catalogs are separate: cursor packages do not inherit Rainmeter requirements. We are not affiliated with Rainmeter, Microsoft or the listed creators. Existing preview credits and source links are preserved; source descriptions and link checks are not independent installation, safety or license verification.

DeskSpruce is an independent Rainmeter directory and practical setup reference. It is not the Rainmeter project, a skin creator's official support service or an endorsement of every download linked from the site.

What belongs here

The catalog focuses on desktop clocks, small suites, launchers and power controls. A useful entry needs more than a picture: it should identify the creator, explain what a widget does, distinguish a package from a wallpaper and show where its download link leads.

Our guides cover installing a skin, changing settings and saving layouts, and finding a missing widget. Documentation-based instructions are labelled as such, not presented as hands-on reviews.

Who prepares the material

Content is published under the DeskSpruce editorial name. AI assists research, drafting and editing. That does not make an AI answer a source or an automated second pass a human review. We do not claim a test laboratory, professional certification or an invented reviewer biography.

Read our methodology for the difference between author-stated facts, recorded tests, unknown requirements and checked links. The rights policy separates preview reuse from package distribution and third-party hosting.

Get Rainmeter from the project

The application is available from rainmeter.net. A third-party skin is a separate download and may have its own requirements or external services. DeskSpruce does not certify packages as malware-free or promise that old integrations still work.
