Eccentricity0 Rainmeter Skin
Eccentricity0 arranges hardware and network readings in a circular composition, using rings, arcs and a yin-yang image rather than conventional dashboard panels.
Eccentricity0 arranges hardware and network readings in a circular composition, using rings, arcs and a yin-yang image rather than conventional dashboard panels. Alongside CPU, GPU, RAM and disk activity, it includes weather information and two different ways to represent network traffic.
What this skin includes
- RAM usage controls the thickness of the inner ring.
- CPU and GPU usage occupy halves of a yin-yang image.
- NetArc represents network speed through arc length; NetSpin uses motion speed.
- Disk throughput is scaled against a recorded maximum that can be reset by clicking.
- The documented weather display includes seven forecast days and an after-sunset moon phase.
Setup and limits
Install the .rmskin package and Open Hardware Monitor. In Variables.inc, enter maximum upload and download speeds in bits per second, ZIP code, weather API key, and CPU/GPU names matching Open Hardware Monitor. MSI Afterburner is optional in the instructions. The supplied layout is named Eccentricity0 Default.
Hardware readings depend on the documented monitoring software and matching device names. Weather setup relies on Weather Underground developer keys, a historical service rather than a current free developer offering. The supplied instructions therefore do not establish a usable present-day weather configuration. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
