Alongside CPU, memory, and storage information, it includes network activity, conditional Wi-Fi and battery sections, and weather.
What this skin includes
- Displays one load bar per logical processor.
- Reads GPU usage and dedicated VRAM use through Windows counters.
- Shows C: usage and live read/write speeds.
- Battery colors change below 30% and 10%.
- Uses wttr.in for weather and ipify for external IP.
- Header accent control cycles through five saved presets.
Setup and limits
Download Coreglow_x.y.rmskin from Releases, double-click it, and select Install. Alternatively, copy Coreglow-backup/Coreglow into the documented Rainmeter Skins folder, refresh all, and load Coreglow.ini through Manage. Run Core Temp and install its Rainmeter plugin for CPU sensor readings. Right-click Edit variables for customization.
Requires Rainmeter 4.5.6 or newer; CPU temperature, power, clock, and name depend on running Core Temp plus CoreTemp.dll. Weather and external IP use online services. Preserve Coreglow.ini's UTF-16 LE encoding when editing. GPU temperature, a three-day forecast, and high-DPI scaling are roadmap items. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
