Divider Screen Layout Rules Rainmeter Skin
Decorative horizontal and vertical desktop rules with independent configurations and color choices.
Divider Screen Layout Rules is a layout aid for a wide desktop. It draws horizontal and vertical rules so you can visually separate workspace areas without installing a replacement shell or claiming that applications will snap into those areas. It is a decorative Rainmeter family, not a window-management tool.
What it includes
- Sixteen separate configurations: Vertical1 through Vertical8 and Horizontal1 through Horizontal8.
- Each configuration contains 26 appearances: 24 solid colours plus Rainbow and RGB gradients.
- The creator lists 416 files across the family; these are variants of one work, not separate skins to catalogue.
- Separate configuration folders allow several rules to remain active while you change the colour of one of them.
Getting and setting up the skin
The collection README describes manual installation: copy the contents of skins into the Rainmeter Skins directory, refresh Rainmeter, then load the desired configuration. For this family, choose the Divider folder rather than loading the repository’s unrelated collections. Keep a copy of your existing skin folders and review what you are copying before replacing anything.
Open creator source and setup instructions (source page, not a direct installer).
Requirements and verification limits
The source does not specify an independently tested Windows build or a minimum Rainmeter version for Divider. Line dimensions and monitor placement were not exercised in this research. The preview is the creator’s colour chart, not a screenshot of application snapping, live desktop partitions, or a complete desktop theme. No performance figure is claimed here.
Preview credit and license
The exact screenshots/divider-colors.png is linked from the creator README and tracked in the same repository as the root MIT license. It is project documentation: the grant explicitly covers software and associated documentation files, and no separate image exclusion was observed. Visual review found only colour samples and text on a plain background, with no wallpaper or third-party artwork. Credit: Copyright (c) 2026 Ringmast4r. The source PNG is linked here. The displayed copy is resized and re-encoded as WebP; the full MIT notice is below.

For complete widgets rather than visual separator lines, compare Mond and SysDash. Use the manual skin installation guide, and read multi-monitor placement before positioning rules on a wide or changing display layout.
