Appearance and choice

Polar is a white pointer family whose Orange, Blue and Green variants differ in the spinning bar of the busy and working cursors. The remaining artwork is the same according to the source. The primary Windows ZIP is Orange; the accent choices are variants, not three distinct resources.

The source documents 18-frame busy and working animations and notes Windows timing differs slightly from the original theme. Location and person selection reuse the pointing-hand artwork. Compare those role choices and accent colors rather than expecting every role to have a different design.

Before changing your pointers

The maintainer explicitly separates measured and assumed display-scaling rows and acknowledges resampling softness at 125% and 175%. Its performance and Windows-loader checks are source claims, not independent DeskSpruce tests. The preview shows the family on light and dark backgrounds; it does not certify contrast on every application surface.

Extract the archive to a folder you can keep. If it supplies .cur or .ani pointer files, use the Windows Pointers dialog to browse for the file for each role, and save a named scheme. A ZIP is a container, .cur is a cursor file and .ani is an animated cursor file; an .inf is configuration, not a preview. Do not run unfamiliar installers merely to inspect the set. See the manual Windows cursor guide for the documented selection and restore path.
