Appearance and choice

An explicitly unofficial Pokémon-inspired pointer family for Windows and Linux. The source provides a Windows ZIP and existing cursor preview, rather than requiring installation of a game. Its name is not an affiliation claim or evidence that other Pokémon desktop resources are included.

The README lists Windows sizes of 16, 24, 32 and 48 pixels separately from Xcursor sizes. Its build notes warn that the Windows build accepts one selected size and that enlarging beyond rendered artwork can blur the result. Those are source notes, not a scaling test performed by DeskSpruce.

Before changing your pointers

The preview is the existing image embedded by the project, retrieved from GitHub's stable image proxy and re-encoded without removing artwork or marks. Exact Windows builds, pointer hotspots and role coverage have not been independently tested. The source calls the project unofficial; no publisher endorsement is implied.

Extract the archive to a folder you can keep. If it supplies .cur or .ani pointer files, use the Windows Pointers dialog to browse for the file for each role, and save a named scheme. A ZIP is a container, .cur is a cursor file and .ani is an animated cursor file; an .inf is configuration, not a preview. Do not run unfamiliar installers merely to inspect the set. See the manual Windows cursor guide for the documented selection and restore path.

Source and credit
