Appearance and choice

AOSP Cursors converts Android's default pointer designs for desktop use. The project describes converting AOSP VectorDrawables into SVG, Xcursor and Windows .ani/.cur files, with added drop shadows. It is a mouse-pointer theme, not an Android emulator or a Windows desktop skin.

Choose the release asset explicitly marked windows, not the Linux tar.xz. Size and shadow customization described in the README is a build-time process; it is not evidence that every possible size or color is a separate ready-made download. The banner is the project's existing preview.

Before changing your pointers

The source distinguishes original Android assets from the maintainer's conversion code. The package format and intended Windows platform are documented, but no exact Windows build, hotspot placement or display-scale result has been tested by DeskSpruce. Source file-type descriptions are not independent archive inspection.

Extract the archive to a folder you can keep. If it supplies .cur or .ani pointer files, use the Windows Pointers dialog to browse for the file for each role, and save a named scheme. A ZIP is a container, .cur is a cursor file and .ani is an animated cursor file; an .inf is configuration, not a preview. Do not run unfamiliar installers merely to inspect the set. See the manual Windows cursor guide for the documented selection and restore path.

Source and credit

The official project README supplies the descriptions and existing preview. Tech-Tac; original Android assets credited to AOSP and their respective owners. A checked download destination is not a malware assessment, an installation result or proof of third-party artwork rights.
