Appearance and choice
This Capitaine fork collects the original pointer style with Gruvbox, Nord and Palenight variants. It is useful when you want a coordinated pointer family to match an existing color scheme, without treating each recolor as another download page.
The README provides a preview for each named variant and distinguishes its Windows.zip from Linux.zip. It also separates installation guidance for 100% display scaling and 150% or higher. That distinction is a reason to read the package documentation before selecting a size, not evidence that all display scales were tested here.
Before changing your pointers
The release asset is a Windows ZIP. The release and README identify the intended platform, but the exact Windows version, high-DPI behavior on your display and package contents have not been independently validated. The original design and the fork have separate credits.
Extract the ZIP to a folder you can keep. If it supplies .cur or .ani pointer files, use the Windows Pointers dialog to browse for the file for each role, and save a named scheme. A ZIP is a container, .cur is a cursor file and .ani is an animated cursor file; an .inf is configuration, not a preview. Do not run unfamiliar installers merely to inspect the set. See the manual Windows cursor guide for the documented selection and restore path.
Source and credit
The official project README supplies the descriptions and existing preview. keeferrourke (original design); sainnhe (additional variants), with build code based on ful1e5/apple_cursor. A checked download destination is not a malware assessment, an installation result or proof of third-party artwork rights.
