Cryptocoins Widget for Rainmeter

Cryptocoins Widget is a Rainmeter cryptocurrency display fork with compact widget variations. Its documented changes go beyond appearance: it replaces the original data parsing with Nomics-specific parsing, revises dynamic icon retrieval for compact widgets, and separates the API configuration from the graphical interface.

Setup and limits

Either place the downloaded repository in Rainmeter's Skins folder and restart Rainmeter, or double-click the supplied .rmskin package. Add ApiKey.ini under the skin's @Resources folder with a [Variables] section and APIKey value. If the package already includes that file, edit its existing value.

The documented data integration uses Nomics, a historical cryptocurrency API rather than a current service. The supplied instructions depend on a Nomics API key; they do not document an alternative provider or a migration procedure. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
