Persian Jalali Calendar displays the current Persian date on the Windows desktop, using Persian weekday and month names. Its main date line can be supplemented with Hijri and Gregorian dates underneath, while configuration-file settings control typography, colors and which supporting date information remains visible.

What this skin includes

  • Shows the current Jalali, Shamsi or Solar Hijri date.
  • Optional Hijri and Gregorian dates appear below the main line.
  • Uses Persian weekday and month names.
  • Fonts, sizes and colors are editable in the .ini file.
  • Weekday-name visibility can be changed.

Setup and limits

Download and double-click the .rmskin package, choose Install and load the calendar through Rainmeter Manage. Alternatively, copy its folder into Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Persian-Iranian-Jalali-Solar-Hijri-Shamsi-Calendar, refresh all and load it. Use Edit skin for customization, then save and refresh the skin.

The source requires Windows, the latest stable Rainmeter and a font supporting Persian, with Vazir, Vazirmatn and IRANSans given as examples. Correct Windows date and time settings are necessary for date accuracy; the excerpt does not document reminders or calendar synchronization. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
