WLED Control puts lighting controls into a tabbed Rainmeter interface rather than a conventional desktop information widget. Separate pages cover colours, effects, segments and system actions, while a device status line reports command results. It communicates with WLED through its JSON API without a plugin or DLL.

## What this skin includes

- Discovers devices on connected local IPv4 networks of up to 1,022 host addresses.
- Accepts manual IPv4 addresses and DNS/mDNS hostnames.
- Provides colour slots, effect controls and segment editing.
- Sends command requests sequentially and reports HTTP results.
- Refreshes device state after a failed command.

## Setup and limits

Copy the WLED Control folder into Documents\\Rainmeter\\Skins, refresh Rainmeter and load Main\\WLED.ini. Use Scan to discover devices, or enter a device IP address or hostname manually. The device must be reachable over HTTP on the same connected local network.

Manual entry rejects URLs, ports, IPv6 literals and paths. Some colour and effect controls depend on device capabilities or effect metadata. Although the repository name includes “pro,” the evidence establishes neither pricing nor a free/PRO feature split; no free-tier entitlement is implied. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
