Starfield UI brings a game-themed collection of Rainmeter components to the desktop, including weather information, application shortcuts and text beneath a constellation logo. Its configuration centers on editable resource files, while most components also offer mouse-wheel scaling. The package supplies an alternative to the commercial Starfield-associated font.

## What this skin includes

- Weather configuration uses WeatherAPI and longitude/latitude coordinates.
- Squares beneath Resources act as application launchers.
- Quotes are read from @Resources/Text/starfield.txt.
- Most loaded components support mouse-wheel scaling when dragging is enabled.
- An alternative font is included instead of NB Architekt Regular.

## Setup and limits

Install Rainmeter, then open the skin package. Edit @Resources/Variable.inc to enter your WeatherAPI key, longitude and latitude, and choose the temperature settings. Configure shortcuts in Apps & Paths, add one quote per line in starfield.txt if desired, and reload loaded Starfield UI components.

Weather requires a personal WeatherAPI key and location coordinates. Basic text-file editing is expected. NB Architekt Regular is commercial and not bundled; the supplied alternative avoids requiring that purchase. The default quote file contains only one entry, so its text does not rotate. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
