SimpCal is a Rainmeter calendar display built around a flip-down date design. Instead of describing a month grid or event organizer, the source emphasizes the visible transition to the next date as each day passes, making the changing date its central feature.

## Source-listed appearance and features

The following details are reported by the source listing, not established by a DeskSpruce installation test.

- Created by mndhta.
- Uses a flip-down design.
- Displays the date on the desktop.
- The date flips to the next one each day.
- An RMSKIN package is listed.

## Setup and limits

The directory lists simpcal.rmskin. Although it describes the daily flip-down behavior, it supplies no installation steps or configuration procedure. Check the source page and follow its listed instructions for installing and loading the date display.

The evidence does not document event entry, reminders or a full month view. It also provides no specific customization controls despite the directory's general language about personalizing a calendar. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
