PlayMusic is a Rainmeter media display built around Google Play Music Desktop Player. Square, round, and landscape layouts pair album artwork with track details and playback-state indicators. A visualizer, selectable accent colors, and scaling settings provide additional ways to change its desktop presentation.

## Setup and limits

Install Google Play Music Desktop Player as required by the source, then enable Playback API in its Desktop Settings. PlayMusic's settings menu opens upon installation and can also be reopened from a control on each variant. Use that menu for the documented customization options.

The documented integration requires Google Play Music Desktop Player with its Playback API enabled. Google Play Music is a retired service, so this is a historical integration, not a current service offering. Spotify and other-player support appear only as development goals. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
