bomWeather 2020 brings Australian Bureau of Meteorology forecasts into Rainmeter. The package documents a seven-day forecast skin alongside optional three-hourly forecasts, with readings fetched from bom.gov.au. It also uses a local full-moon date file to derive moon phases, creating a separate maintenance consideration.

## Setup and limits

Install Rainmeter, download the linked bomWeather-2020 RMSKIN and double-click it to install. Open Rainmeter Manager and load the skin's 7DayForecast.ini. The source says readings may take a minute to refresh while data is fetched. Load the additional three-hourly forecast skins if desired.

Forecasts depend on data retrieved from bom.gov.au and conversion of its forecast text into icons. The source explicitly requires annual updates to FullMoons.csv for accurate moon results; phases are extrapolated from full-moon dates. It does not establish the current status of the retrieval method. Current Windows-build compatibility has not been independently verified; this research did not install or execute the skin.
